Webb22 jan. 2024 · The best method IMO is to destroy the brain swiftly, which is were many people are mentioning the smashing method. For little fish I place them in ice water where they expire in seconds. With larger fish I take a knife and cut into the brain cavity. They may flop or quiver for a moment but they pass just as fast as the ice method.
