WebbRosson House Museum & Heritage Square In 1971, the Rosson House was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The city of Phoenix bought the house in 1974 in an effort to save the historic home from being razed as part of the Phoenix Convention Center redevelopment project. WebbOriginally designed in the 1950s by Frank Lloyd Wright apprentices Alden B. Dow and Blaine Drake, the museum was completed in 1959 as part of the Phoenix Civic Center complex that also housed the Phoenix Little Theater and the Phoenix Central Public Library.
