Webb14 nov. 2006 · I decided to use In-Line-Tube "CNC computer pre-formed tube" stainless fuel and brake lines and I ordered and received them in 2002...Fast forward to 2006...as the frame is being reassembled, I retrieve the "still new in the box " (but 4 year old) brake and fuel lines. I took them out of the box and matched them to my ORIGINAL lines. WebbDetails. And I'm not talking about bending the long lines out straight or to the position they're supposed to be in. Granted this is his first brake line replacement but he's called Classic Tube for help and advice and has received very little. Webb3 okt. 2024 · Inline Tube does make pre-bent fuel lines for 1965, in regular steel and in stainless for about $100. The Right Stuff also makes those fuel lines. I emailed the Right Stuff to ask about pressure ratings, and they replied the steel lines are rated at well over 200psi, plenty good for EFI use.

The cost was quoted at $75.72. That’s not bad and at that cost it would be worth it to me instead of having to bend my own. The cost of the brake set was $171.00.

Webb26 juli 2024 · Just the lines from Mercedes would have been over $1000 but the bill to make the originals good as new was less than $100, including my mechanic's time to tote the lines there and back.
