WebNice family-friendly hike. Very steady incline and smooth trail makes for a do-able hike for all ages and abilities. A bit different in that the trail ends in a glade/basin rather than a peak or lake. As others have mentioned, there certainly is the option to scramble up to the peak. A bit more ability required to add on the additional climb.
