Lets assume that, if they release a Fallout game set near the pacific, they would have the events of this new game be based at least thirty years after the events of Fallout 4. WebMy theory would be at the start of a new game you pick which faction you chose to side with at the end of New Vegas which then dictates how the world and environment is affected by your choice. If it was the NCR, then Caesar’s Legion wouldn’t be in the Mojave at all except for a few stragglers and vice versa if you were to pick the Legion.
